Tasting Notes

On the nose, engaging rye notes blend with lemon and delicate vanilla. The palate reveals floral brightness wrapped in bourbon warmth and a strong backbone of juniper. It finishes sweet, spicy, and beautifully integrated.

Perfect Serve

Sip it neat or on the rocks to enjoy its full depth. Or mix into an aged gin cocktail like a Barrel Aged Gin Negroni – equal parts gin, vermouth, and Campari – for a smoky twist on the classic.

Where gin meets oak, and tradition takes on a deeper flavour.

Brass Lion Barrel Aged Gin is a bold evolution of our signature Singapore Dry Gin, rested in ex-bourbon casks to develop a smooth, complex character. This oak-aged gin boasts warm notes of vanilla, rye, and caramel layered over bright florals and classic juniper. Deep yet balanced, it’s a cask-aged spirit designed for those who enjoy the richness of whisky-like gin with the botanical backbone of a craft-distilled gin.

SMOOTH, ELEGANT & SOPHISTICATED

The Warmth of Vanilla on a Cool Night

A smooth, wood-kissed spirit with a warm, luxurious profile that’s perfect for sipping on the rocks or elevating your Negroni – a perfect choice for the adventurous drinker.

Should you age gin?

Gin isn’t typically aged, but aging gin in barrels allows the spirit to absorb flavours from the wood, adding depth and complexity. By resting our gin in ex-bourbon casks, we allow it to take on smooth, rounded flavours not usually found in classic gin like warm, whisky-like notes of vanilla and spice.

How long is Barrel Aged Gin aged for?

Each batch is aged by taste, not by timeline. Our oak-aged gin is typically matured for 3 to 8 months, though it can go longer depending on how the spirit evolves in the barrel. The aim is always to achieve harmony between the bold character of the gin and the richness drawn from the ex-bourbon cask, creating a smooth and complex sip, whether served neat or in an aged gin cocktail.

What barrel is used for aging?

We use American ex-bourbon barrels to age our Barrel Aged Gin. These casks impart soft notes of vanilla, rye, and toasted oak to the gin, lending it a whisky-like depth.

What’s the difference between gin and whiskey?

Gin is distilled with botanicals like juniper and usually unaged, while whiskey is grain-based and aged in barrels for a minimum of three years. Our cask-aged gin sits between both worlds – offering the botanical brightness of gin, with the warm, rounded character of a whiskey.
